The tour starts in the port, where the guide meets and takes you to the tour of the city with a visit to the most famous cathedrals — St. Isaac’s and Savior on the Spilled Blood. Feel like a Petersburg inhabitant when walking in the local farmers market where ordinary people buy things.
Then you have lunch at one of the best restaurants in the city. It is a very important moment because after that you go to the Hermitage, the most popular museum in Europe according to Tripadviser.
You can appreciate the beauty of world masterpieces — works by Da Vinci, Rembrandt, and Picasso, only a small part of the entire splendor of the Hermitage collections. After the tour, you return to your ship to rest, but the adventures of the first day are not over there.
Petersburg is famous for its drawbridges. And the best place to watch this phenomenon right under the wings of the bridge is on the Neva. By midnight, your driver will take you in the port and bring to the embankment for a night stroll.
